Each day I try and remind myself of all the good and positive things that life has to offer. Especially the little things. It’s easy to get caught up in what’s not right or what’s not happening in our lives, but we should be mindful that tomorrow isn’t promised to us so we might as well make the best of things. With that in mind, I make it my goal to stay positive no matter what’s going on. Now, I’m not saying that’s an easy task and I’m certainly not saying that I’m always successful at it, but it’s the goal. Gotta have goal, right? Work was a little rough for me today but I thought about the blessing of having a job, especially in this economy. I also reminded myself that things aren’t always going to be a walk in the park. Unfortunately, bad days happen to good people. We just have to hang in there and be mindful of all the wonderful things in life that outweigh something like a rough day at work. At the very least, there’s a paycheck to look forward to. I mean, who doesn’t appreciate payday? So when the frays of life get you down and the windfall of mishaps come down like autumn leaves, put a smile on your face and keep moving forward. Even if you are moving at a slow, 11-hour work-day pace, that’s fine, so long as you keep on pushing!
