Here's To A Great Weekend

Well, my book launch party is over, and I have to say that it was an incredible success! I am still overwhelmed by the support of my family and friends.  It was great to see people I haven’t seen in years as well as those I see on a more regular basis.

I wasn’t able to spend as much time with everybody as I would have liked to, but duty called. I had books to sell and sign! It was a great feeling, and I can’t begin to tell everyone how grateful I am for the love and support.

Although I am now officially an author, I will always be a mom first. And to prove that very point, I went home from my launch party, packed a suitcase and hopped on a six a.m. flight to Southern California for my daughter’s soccer tournament. What a difference 24 hours make!

Sharing my first novel with the people I care about and supporting my daughter in her big tournament made for an absolutely fantastic weekend.

Back to reality…work tomorrow. 

As soon as I get the photos from the book launch, I will post them. Until then, here are a couple of me-one at my launch party and the very next day supporting the best center defender in the world!
