I fell in love with this story, and would love to see if we all find out if Anaya finds true love. I shed a lot of tears reading this book. You can really relate to the characters in this story. I hope Ms. Christy will let us know more about Roscoe. Thank you writing about people that we could actually relate to. A must read.

The book captures Anaya’s true feelings and made me feel for her! Its emotional and lovely at the same time. Things happen for a reason and you cross paths with ur ex for a reason. This has been beautifully portrayed by the author. Definitely gonna read the first book in Anaya’s world and other books from the author. Don’t miss this great read.

I just opened my phone to read this and sadly discovered I had finished it. It has left me wanting more which I think is a great sign of a good book. It did take me a while to get into it but I think that’s because the characters have depth and there’s a lot to learn about them. If you want a book you can read a bit of at a time and really enjoy, one which isn’t going to make you stay awake all night to finish but is something you look forward to coming back to, this is a great book for you.

I enjoyed the story of friendship and love. Each character trying to work out their lives, all with issues. I like how it reminded me that you need to look behind people’s words and actions more as to why people behave in certain ways. As well as that we all need to be kind to each other but also ourselves. Easy to get involved in each of their lives as the author created clear scenarios of their lives. It’s a story that could be a tv show, so you could continue to see how their lives mapped out.

quotes from the book
“Instead of plotting verbal revenge on Wendy, Anaya should have mentally prepared for this moment. Though she agreed with Catie and Sophie that meeting Jeff was a bad idea, curiosity got the best of her. Seeing Jeff wasn’t a big deal. She could handle a simple lunch with an ex-boyfriend.”
“She and Antoine both made mistakes, but Dr. Rhonda encouraged Catie to consider whether she really wanted to end the relationship. It would be hard to peel back the layers of their silence, but by compromising and communicating, she would be able to decide if Antoine was worth it. If they were worth it.”
“Instead of hoping for a girl, Ava should be hoping for a job. Or to win the lottery. She didn’t want to bond over breakfast, she wanted to drip her pregnancy bomb.”
