6-week Online Bootcamp

we all have a story to tell
stop waiting to tell yours

If you have a story that you wanted to share for a while and don't know where to start, you're not alone.

This course is perfect for you if

You want to find your writing voice and the courage to share or create stories.

You want to commit to finishing a novel, write poems or novellas.

You want to connect with other writers experiencing something similar.

You want to gain the confidence to share your work with a small group of people.

You find healing in writing and sharing your story with others.

WELCOME TO

The Writing Bootcamp will provide a sense of community as you adopt a writing mindset, explore possible writing genres, and discover who you are as a writer and, most importantly, why you write.

Gain confidence, improve your writing skills, discover your writing style, and lean on your new writing tribe.

Guess what — when I started writing my first novel, I didn't intend for it to be published.

still not sure?

I share this because writing is not only about becoming a New York Times Bestselling author—while that is the goal, writing is a form of expression like any other art. Writing is the tool that saved me. Writing allows you to dig deep and discover who you are, what triggers you, and how to resolve internal conflict. We do this subconsciously through our characters, and it can be healing.

I will help you discover your writing voice and the confidence to call yourself a writer so you too can begin your writing journey.

The Results

How can the writing bootcamp help you?

Discover what you really want out of your writing. Having an accountability group will help you determine what matters most to you in writing.

Discover your real audience. Who are you writing for? Who will benefit most from your stories? Why? Through our meetings and 1:1 conversations, I will help you narrow down your target audience.

Develop your writing and grow your platform. Writers all have a fear of sounding like other writers or that readers will not like their writing. You are wrong. Your writing voice is unique to your experiences and style. Group meetings will help you find your unique writing voice and discover the tools you need to grow your platform authentically.

Increase consistency and accountability. Your book will not write itself. Engaging with other writers will hold you to deadlines, require you to be prepared for meetings and most importantly, help you finish your book.

Real Results

Hey, I’m Tamika!

your Writing Bootcamp Teacher & Coach

When I wrote my first book, I didn't have writer friends or know where to find resources. I have been helping writers find their writing voices since 2013.

I am passionate about writing because it helped me navigate childhood trauma and abandonment. My heartfelt mission is to encourage you to discover your voice and travel your path to becoming a published writer while creating a supportive writing community.

Licensed Attorney, and Writing Coach

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have helped small businesses, authors, and aspiring writers discover their writing style, website edits, developmental edits, and writing structure issues and overcome the fear of writing. I pull from my experience as a new writer, realizing that one size does not fit all. And everyone has a different hurdle and a different story to tell.

It's time to tell yours.

But it wasn’t always this way.

When I started writing my first novel, I didn't intend for it to be published. It was a short story. Writing was therapy and I lived through my character's lives. They said things I would never say, reacted how I never would, and it gave me a sense of calm that I couldn't explain. I loved delving my characters into impossible situations and digging them back out. My characters learned peace, patience, forgiveness, and overcoming. I often say I'm not a therapist, but I play one in my books.
